Ephesians 3:10-13 The mysteries even angels desire to understand

10 The principalities and powers spoken of here are the angelic beings who inhabit the heavenly places. They, both good and evil are learning what the manifold wisdom of God is towards the body of Christ, which is His church. We are being observed by angels, especially the elect angels of God desire to know what God is revealing to His church. 1st Peter 1:10-12 The church is the glory of God and we are His inheritance as well as He being ours. So when the sermons are preached and the prayers are prayed, the angels of God are in attendance and are listening intently to what is being said and done. The angels do not have the same relationship we have with God, for we alone are made in the image of God, however they worship Him in true Spirit and truth. The evil spirits design is to cause confusion and disruption, for they serve the one who came to kill, to steal and to destroy. They war against the elect angels and desire to destroy the works of God.

11 God’s purpose and His will since the beginning of time have never changed. He will have His will and He will have His plan for the ages unfold, just as He has prophesied through His prophets throughout the ages. The eternal purpose was set in motion before the foundation of the world.

12 We have boldness and confidence by our faith in our Lord and savior Jesus Christ and we have confidence in our Father who created all things through Christ. The Holy Spirit gives us the boldness to speak the truth in righteousness, our access to the Father is through the son, who has claimed us as His bride.

13 Paul wants them to be steadfast, and that they faint not when they observe his sufferings which are for their glory. Paul knows he must suffer much tribulation, but it will not be in vain in the Lord.
